An Excellent Realtor

We had an excellent experience working with Mr Mehrdad Haghjoo buying a fantastic house. He put a tremendous amount of time and effort into understanding the market and identifying properties that offered the best value—not only in terms of price, but also condition, location, and future resale potential.

What impressed me most was that he never pressured us to make a purchase. For every property, he took the time to explain the pros and cons, gave us his honest and knowledgeable opinion about what the property was really worth, and ultimately left the decision completely in my hands.

We trusted Mr.Mehrdad to visit the property on our behalf and provide an honest and complete assessment before purchase. Unfortunately, several significant negative aspects of the property were not disclosed or properly communicated to us during the process. After buying the home, we discovered issues that we believe should have been identified and discussed beforehand.

We felt that our concerns and best interests were not properly represented, and the experience left us disappointed and frustrated. Buyers rely heavily on their realtor’s honesty and professional judgment, especially when they cannot personally attend a viewing. Based on our experience, we would recommend future clients do their own thorough inspections and research before making a purchase decision.

I am not the one who posts fake reviews for people and businesses so this is my honest review for Mehrdad after having done a double-transaction with his help. I am glad we chose to work with him out of thousands of realtors in Vancouver. Here are a few of the positives:

1- We were impressed by his dedication to work as well as organizational skills. Always on time and responsive. Always friendly, flexible, and culturally aware. These are critical attributes that people don't usually pay attention to when choosing a realtor
2- He did an amazing job with photography, videography, and any other required marketing techniques to attract prospects
3- He would not give us false hope or fake fears. This is very important as realtors often "push" their clients to complete deals
4- He thinks (and operates) logically and coherently. Strong in critical thinking / reasoning which helps with setting a proper strategy or even change it midway if needed
